| UL is the short of Underwriter Laboratories Inc. It is the most authoritative civil organization engaged in safety test and identification. It¡¯s a independent, non-profit professional organization for public safety test. It adopts scientific testing method to find out the harm or harmless degree of life and property caused by various material, device, product, equipment, construction, etc. In a word, UL is mainly engaged in certification business of product safety and management safety certification. Its final target is to offer safe commodities on the market and guarantee the health and property safety. UL also plays positive role in promoting international business development.
UL Standard is keeping perfect. Its revision requirements are brought forward by people from industry circle, users, UL engineers and other concerned people. It has established normal industry circle revision procedure.
It will publish valid date when every piece of UL Standard is changed. There are sufficient space between revision date and issued date during which the factory can modify its products and re-submit UL test. |
