一個良好的溝通技巧將有助于贏得50%的比賽。“溝通中最重要的事情就是聽出言外之意”,聽和理解是溝通的關鍵。誤解的主要原因是由于溝通不暢。傳播因素是純碎建立在文化上的,如唇讀,手語。通過好的溝通方式及吸收和管理文化,個人或組織的發展和成就可以達到很高水平,在采用新文化時,會遇到一些優點和缺點。通過有效地管理溝通方式,這樣的缺點會很容易變成優點。
Managing across culture is to facilitate a more effective interaction with countries and around the world. When the people adapt from one culture to another culture, they are facing the challenges for their basic needs itself. But it helps to improve individual quality and globalization by managing the culture in a positive way. This essay explains what challenges will be arisen when the people entere into a different culture and how to manage it effectively in a positive manner.
Language is one of the most important communication factors to understand different cultures in this world. The speaking language is entirely different within my country based on different cultures. English is the common language for us in education and work activities rather than that all the people communicate with our own languages. Even though the people in other countries have an excellent knowledge in English they can meet some difficulties in UK like understanding the pronunciation, regional accents, and they overcome these difficulties easily by understanding and managing the culture in day to day life.
溝通方式——Communication Style:
A good communication skill will help to win 50% of the competition. “The most important thing in communication is to hear what isn't being said” Listening and understanding is the key point for the communication. The primary reason for misunderstanding is due to miscommunication. The communication factors are purely based on culture like lip reading, and sign language. The developments and achievements of an individual or an organisation are too high when the communication style is good by adopting and managing the culture. Some merits and demerits are come across when adopting new culture. The demerits like misunderstanding will turn easily into merits by managing the communication style effectively.#p#分頁標題#e#
天氣條件——Weather Conditions:
The weather conditions are differed in different countries. Weather conditions are changed because of global warming. The culture is changed when the country is differed. In the mean time the weather is also changed and it gave lot of difficulties. I experienced it when I was entering in U.K. But managing weather is very simple to adopt U.K culture by changing food style, dressing style etc.
In U.K there is no difference in relationship between men and women. This relationship gave some merits and demerits also. It will increase the socialism. Accept and adopt the positive things in relationship when culture differs and avoids the negative things which could not help personal and organisational growth.
喝酒喝抽煙——Drinking and smoking:
The drinking and smoking culture is varied from one country to another. In U.K Smoking is not allowed in public places and public transport. The people can smoke pubs. So many restaurants and cafes have non-smoking areas. The beer or liquor sales even the provisional store itself. In that provisional store, I saw one young student he is trying to buy liquor. But the sales man refused him to give the liquor. He told me the reason for refusing is that people less than 18 yearsold are not allowed to drink and smoke. In some other countries the same rules are there, but the people are not following it. So I like to follow all the rules and regulations (not only in drinking and smoking) strictly by managing this culture in UK. Drinking and smoking are injurious to health but the people can manage the culture by following it in the positive manner.
完成任務的方式——Approaches to completing tasks:
Every people have their own approaches to completing the tasks. While completing the task in a across culture we have to think in cultural point of view to complete the tasks in success manner.
Ms Caldwell Suggests “the need for cross-cultural training is ever more urgent, as companies' operations, particularly those in Europe, span across an increasing number of nations. Without awareness of cultural distinctions, misunderstandings can arise as a result of”
According to Ms Caldwell stated in the above, my opinion is when the company operates in across culture our approaches could be acceptable and could make more benefit for that company. Our approaches should focus to satisfy for our across culture clients.
教育體系——Education system:
UK education system is a Referencing - The Harvard System. The schools and colleges present in good environment with latest technologies and having well verse electronic equipment like projectors, smart board etc. Education methods are practical with evidence based .The teaching language is a mother tongue and the whole country follows the same. Really it is a good culture in educational system and it avoids the knowledge struggling when the cultures change. In some countries like India the teaching language is not a common language and it gives lot of language problems inside and outside of the country. By managing this education culture by this way is simplified the learning, increased the productivity within a short period and it is a strong foundation to build a bright future for personal and country level.#p#分頁標題#e#
宗教——Religion:
Sara Wenner suggested (2001) “Religion helps us to transmit our values from one generation to another, and influences the way we interact with the natural environment. It teaches us how to see ourselves in light of the universe and gives purpose and meaning to life”.
We have lot of religions around this world such as Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Jainism etc. So the management of religion across the culture is very important and such management ways are listed here.
Decision making is a process of first diverging to explore the possibilities and then converging on a solution(s). For Example the first company is running within the country with their own culture and second company is a MNC. The second company deals with across cultural clients. While running the business the MNC should consider all cultural aspects from all clients for decision making. Then only the company satisfies the customer and won the business. So, the culture is also the main part in the decision making process for success.
Napoleon Hill suggested "Think & Grow Rich", Napoleon Hill stated that 98% of people are in the jobs they have throughindecision, i.e. because they never made the decision about what they wanted to do in their lives in the first place”.
I understood from Mr. Napoleon Hill words in above, people who without making the decision they are all like blind. What they are going give the output? So, before the making decision think elaborately and have pre plan structure for it. In across culture making decision is very much important for the growing company.
